PRESENTATION
Portraits croisés de trois oiseaux de nuit parisiens. De fêtes d’appartement en bars de nuit, l’éternel recommencement des dérives nocturnes, où l’on se réinvente, se cherche, s’oublie. Derrière une porte, autour d’une table, au bout d’un fil de sms, on y croise des inconnus ou des visages familiers, des fêtes qui n’existent pas, d’autres où l’on s’ennuie et que l’on quitte aussitôt.
La nuit, révélatrice des angoisses de notre société urbaine, est le lieu d’un certain langage, d’une logorrhée nocturne, faite d’ivresse et de vantardise, d’introspection et de doutes, de séduction et de vannes.
Aux côtés des personnages et de leurs rencontres nocturnes, c’est un portrait en coupe de la société contemporaine qui se dessine. Les aspirations et les craintes qui s’expriment. Enfin, le statut particulier du jour qui se lève, promesse d’espoir ou fin du rêve, renouveau éternel ou gueule de bois.

Connected portraits of three Parisian nocturnal birds. From house parties to night bars, the perpetual renewal of after hours drifts, where they reinvent, lose and forget themselves. Behind a door, round a table, at the end of a thread of messages, you’ll meet strangers or familiar faces, hypothetic parties, others where one is fast bored and leaves right away.
The night, eye-opening on the anxiety in our urban society, is where a certain language is spoken, a nocturnal logorrhoea, a mixture of inebriation and boasting, of introspection and doubts, of seduction and puns.
Siding with the characters as they meet people in the night, a cross-sectional portrait of the contemporary society is being drawn here. Expectations and fears expressing themselves. Ultimately, the peculiar status of the new day dawning, promise of hope or of end of a dream, perpetual renewal or hangover.
